Old Technologies vs New Technologies

Some wild technology that was introduced in the late 1980s was the clapper, in which to turn on your lights all you had to do was clap. Back then this was mind-blowing that you didn't need to flip a switch anymore to turn your lights on or even get up from where you were sitting. This has developed over time with more wireless technologies that you can speak to turn your lights on or off or do it from your phone. An example is Alexa by Amazon where you can say "Alexa turn on living room lights" or "Alex dim the lights" and she will do it for you without you having to move. There are different varies of this like Google Home or Echo dot or even Siri on the iPhone. Everything today is become more wireless and is encouraging less movement by humans. Which as we have seen in the movie WALL-E can be a bad thing where everyone just sits all day and doesn't move. In the future, more technology will be developed where people don't have to move to cook their food or do their laundry or anything. Everything in your house will completely be digitalized and do everything for you. There are already commercials that mock this idea and show how lazy our future generation will become.
